Sampling for DW Soundworks and V-Drums Instrument Expansions come from the same sampling session. Whether you’re experiencing sounds via DW Soundworks software on a computer or listening to sounds in the module, you’re hearing the same acoustic instruments recorded in the highest quality.

I have a feeling that Roland and DW have been working on this for a long time.. and as a Roland player.. it’s playability and user ease of use is second to none. Curious about the player vs producer setting. I’m hoping for raw, open, resonant sounds. So many compressed and eq’ed sounds. So many OVERLY compressed, eq’ed sounds. Drums are meant to sing, otherwise what is the point?
