Hilda isn't a show to me anymore, its an experience. Every episode has an element of wonder that I havent felt since I was little, listening to funny bedtime stories. This show is linked with amazing memories and I couldn't be happier that I found it. I couldn't be more exited for season 2😊

Came here after season 3, and man, this has been the best week ever. Admittedly, I didn't watch the show before like most people here, but I instead started watching the show after I saw the season 3 trailer, which was about a week ago. The best part is, I unknowingly managed to time my binging perfectly, so perfectly that I finished the movie right before season 3 premiered. I still don't know how I did that.

Anyway, I still can't believe this show is over now. I actually want to rewatch it sometime soon (I like to space out my rewatches so everything is kind of fresh). Man, I just can't put into words how amazing this show is, and how it really means to me.

I'm nearly 60 now, and don't remember being as enchanted by a children's story since the C.S. Lewis Chronicles of Narnia since I was a child in the 60s. Hilda works on several levels. It's delightful. One one level, it's the story of a slightly headstrong young lady and her adventures. She's a great little heroine, but she isn't perfect -- she makes mistakes, she can disregard the feelings of those around her, particularly her mum, but she always does her best. On another level entirely, the plight of the trolls, for example, can be seen as the way we disregard nature and live ever further out of balance with her.
