Enjoyed making this one, added a wee extra as well for the sci-fi look, connected the brick factor output to a mix colour node factor, set the first colour to black, any colour for the second and connected it to the emission colour input, on adjusting the emission strength it will make the edges glow. Keep them coming.

Thank you for this tutorial, for ages now I've wondered how to make a customizable node that I see a lot with procedural textures from Blenderkit, etc.

What would I need to do in order to make Color 3 emissive?

Edit: Think I got it. I copied the Voronoi and Brick textures, set Color 1 and Color 2 to pure white then plugged it in to a Color Ramp. Then I flipped the colors in the Color Ramp and plugged it into the factor of a Mix Color node. I set Color A in the Mix Color node to pure black and left Color B to be the emission color and hooked that up to the Group Input. Then I plugged the Mix Color result into an Emission shader and plugged that into the Group Output and the Strength value into the Group Input. After that I hit tab out of the node group and put the Shader and Emission outputs into a Mix Shader node and set it to .15 on the factor. Looks pretty cool and gives it an optional TRON-like look.

Let me know if there is something I could change to make it better or if there is another approach I could have taken.

Epic. There were a couple of minor differences but I think they changed something with the latest version of Blender is all. Everything still worked, just some of the slider values were different
