The Divine Work of Creation 1 The Biblical Hexaemeron the Six Days of Creation

In this presentation we look at the Church's understanding of the account of the six days of creation in the book of Genesis. We first give out the general principles to be observed in order to understand the account. Then we focus on the decisions of the Pontifical Biblical Commission decision on some issues for clarification. We end the presentation with the look at the account of the duration and chronological order of creation in particular presenting what is accepted as the official teaching and what is to be rejected.
