Targeting no-call? Are you talking about the Isaiah Bond play?

How about the rule that says you can't pull or carry a ballcarrier across the goal line. You can push but you can't pull. Totally missed that call.

Hey espn why dont you look at the rule where skattebo gets pulled into the endzone.

Why is nobody talking about skatt being pulled into the end zone by his lineman? That’s illegal.

Targeting depends on the team, the game and the money on the betting line

mention the launch and illegal elbow to the head on Bond during the INT... that is targeting

"Targeting" penalties are part of what's killing the game!

All football fans know things get sketchy when the big money programs are in jeopardy of losing a game.

Greenberg: I don’t want the game decided by a call

Also Greenberg: I’m angry this game wasn’t decided by a call.

This show would be so much better if y’all didn’t lean so hard into negativity.

the fake punt pass by ASU also has an ineligible lineman downfield that should have been a foul against ASU.

Now read the rule on a line man carrying a player over the goal line. I’ll wait.

What about pulling the runner forward. That's illegal, and the announcers even said he got pulled in. Would not have even been OT if they called that a loss of yards as in the rules.

The Texas fans in the comments on every post I see about this crying for their life is amazing 😂😂

You’re taught as a kid to keep your head up. Why should you be penalized for tackling properly? We’re banning hip tackles, we don’t want defenders to go low or it’s cheap, and we’re eliminating any contact to the head? What do people want these defenders to do?

Not a Texas fan but it looked clean to me. You're allowed to touch helmets as long as you don't lower and lead with your head. Really nothing else the defender could do besides allow him to catch the ball and turn up field before tackling him.

For me, as a retired official. The rule states “contact …. with the crown of their helmet”.

This was face masks to face mask. The tackler did not use the crown of his helmet.

It appears those argue this is targeting are using the example to justify their position not the rule.

Think most of us agree, there needs to be more clarification in the examples to sync better with examples, on this, for all.

Why is no one talking about the lack of holding calls? For Texas as well but Arizona was holding all day and there were no calls. It was a weird game

The pass was most definitely tipped. Look at this video in slow motion.

0:42 What about this hit? Did they call that? Idk

Yes it was a bad no call but Arizona State should've stopped Texas on a 4th and 13 in overtime! So they have nothing to complain about!
