Thank you for explaining the changes! In my opinion I just hate that I can't pause or rewind videos anymore because people I follow still upload longer form content, such as uploading lives, and it is frustrating to watch without pause and rewind controls

I should mention that videos you’ve previously posted to IGTV will not be lost or deleted. This is a re-branding of IGTV to what will now simply be Instagram Video.

I’m using an older version of the app and they didn’t get rid of IGTV. Now they are forcing you to use IGTV but aren’t telling you. They don’t give you an option to upload a regular video anymore

I appreciate this video and your effort but I found it insanely distracting with the background noise. Had to stop video because I couldn’t even focus and I’m really trying to figure out why I all of a sudden don’t see the IGTV option on one of my biz accounts but I still see it on the other. The other being NOT the one I’m trying to promote and so I just recorded two videos and can’t even post them?

I think Instagram needs to still focus on photo sharing too. Never forget that. They're not good at messaging because sending gifs is unsupported lol

I love what they did here. I can't stand vertical video and they've changed how the phone app displays horizontal video so I don't have to create two versions. Besides, I post music videos and no one wants to watch a music video that's limited to a 1:1 or 9:16 aspect ratio!

I can see still some IG users put IGTV. How it's possible? Is it possible that IG switch off that option by country? I can see users in Russia and Finland can still put IGTV, but not in Spain.I don't have that option anymore.
