Underrated Wings of Fire Characters: Starflight

In this video I will be talking about Starflight and the heroic things he has done. Never knew it would come to this but oh well the journey is full of surprises anyway. I'm gonna repeat this one more time just in case. This analysis is all based on my opinion so I am not looking for any conflicts or drama :)

I can agree with you, Starflight does a lot of good things and he really only gets recognition for his intelligence, not his bravery

Starflight is without a doubt in my mind the most underrated protagonist in the entire Wings Of Fire franchise. There is so much more to his character than meets the eye, and yet it’s always there right in front of you. His acts of bravery and heroism are astonishing and his character itself is incredibly polished in writing! I’m so glad to see someone else who appreciates his character so much!

hey jas, i have a suggestion. maybe you could talk about the relationships in wof? i think a lot of them are complicated and i have been wanting to talk about it but i feel like i would run out of breath. (you dont have to do this its just something i kinda wanna see discussed lol). the relationships in wof are kind of ehhhh.. like i thought the whole starflight and sunny thing was cute until yep and then fatespeaker came along and starflight got brotherzoned. i actually didnt like fatespeaker and starflight together because i feel like its just trying to get starflight a love interest after getting rejected, which he doesnt need because he is already a strong character. but if it means starflight is happy (not sure if they will get together) then thats okay. i also dont really like how glory and deathbringer work. like they met in the ice kingdom while he was on a mission to kill her and then almost kills blaze and injures tsunami. and then for them to just suddenly work rubs me the wrong way, especially since deathbringer is significantly older than glory. but yeah i feel like none of the first arc ships are great. i would gladly talk about the second arc ships but no spoilers! so ill just rant about the other ships. (personally i hate all the ships in the first arc. so tsunami and riptide. they surely exist! i feel like they shouldnt be in a situationship either because tsunami constantly cant trust him. you cant have a relationship without trust and the fact that this is mentioned in the books and then brushed off is also kinda rubbing me the wrong way. if you feel like you cant trust someone, then dont start a relationship. not to mention their lives being so different and they barely spend any time together. now last but certainly not least, clay and peril. personally i dont like peril. i dont think she takes enough account for the thousands she murdered. sure it was fun reading her book but i find her to be plain and just badly written. her whole personality is her firescales and clay. she will hurt anyone who even touches clay (mentioned in a later book i wont spoil) even without context. now i am going to be extremely salty because i really do not want them to become a couple. peril is obsessive. even though she shows a fraction of being 'good hearted' i just dont like how she is written. maybe she could have been bad and then had a redemption arc. i dont know. but i feel like if she is just handed over to this heroic little hungry boi (clay) i feel like she has done nothing to deserve it, especially when she helped scarlet trap clay again just so he couldn't leave. this is an example of peril thinking about herself rather than others. if she is only willing to change for a love interest then i just feel like ill hate this character forever, but thats just my opinion and if youre in love with peril, i wont judge you at all, this is just my own jibber jabber lol. anyway u dont have to do a video on this, its just an idea i might do one day maybe but i dont think i see enough discussion about the relationships in wings of fire. i havent the first arc in a while because i thought the second was more interesting but yeah if i missed anything or said something wrong thats probably just my memory.
