Explore the newly updated H949 Harmonizer® Plug-in! In 1977, Eventide released the H949, standing on the shoulders of the H910 as the second in Eventide's family of Harmonizers. It introduced a formal micro pitch-shifting mode, which is a great sound for lead guitar virtuosos. It also had the first Reverse delays and introduced a Random pitch mode, which works great as an automatic double-track for guitars and vocals. And, the H949 conquered the 'glitch' by using advanced autocorrelation techniques.

Frank Farian - producer & songwriter for Boney M, Eruption, Milli Vanilli and loads of others, he made extensive use of the harmonizer, particularly for his own voice. Farian provided the male voice on Boney M records as well as different harmonies. His studio in Germany was producing these hits in the mid to late 1970’s and I suspect he was using the early Eventide Harmonizers..

This was the same device that Peter Howell used to do the MIddle 8 pitch glider which I should use to recreate the sound in my ultimate Howell recreation masterpiece!

I have the H910 plugin. Do I need the H949 plugin? Are their better features with the H949?
