Ginataang Hipon with Sitaw at Kalabasa (Coconut Milk Shrimp)

Ginataang Hipon with Sitaw and Kalabasa is a Filipino dish composed of shrimp, calabaza squash, and snake beans. These ingredients are cooked in coconut milk and coconut cream. I added fish sauce, locally known as patis, to provide more flavor to the dish. This Filipino food is best eaten with warm rice.

Here are the ingredients:

1 lb. Shrimp, washed and deveined
1 Knorr Shrimp Cube
2 cups cubed squash
15 pieces snake beans, cut into 2 inch pieces
4 cups coconut milk
2 cups coconut cream
3 pieces long green chili pepper (optional)
1 medium yellow onion
2 thumbs ginger, cut into strips
5 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons fish sauce
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

What equipment do you use?

I started the videos back in 2009 using a Pentax point and shoot camera. It is a priced possession because it helped me take this channel to where it is today.

At present, I use Panasonic Hc-X920, Sony FDR-AX100 4K Ultra HD Camcorder, and Nikon D5.

AMAZING ka talaga gumawa ng vid. beginner lang ako sa pagluluto, pero kahit na first time ko pang gawin ang ibat ibang ulam ok na agad yung lasa dahil sa tutorials mo, pag may i sesearch akong gusto kong lutuin, always sa isipan ko "SANA NASA PANLASANG PINOY TO" haha and always naman talaga may video ka sa naiisipan kong lutuin. thanks talaga, malaking tulong ang channel mo sa mga tulad ko 😍☺

What is the overall cooking time of the dish presented in the video? By the way, I recommended your channel to my daughter. She's in college and there are times she misses home cooked meals. With the aid of your videos she has successfully cooked two of her favorite dishes, bistek and chicken adobo. I am one proud dad!
