This must have been so thrilling for you guys! So happy for you and I'm a big fan. Let me tell you something about this song and the era it came out in. It was 1975 and I was a Jr. in High school. It was a VERY racially divided time in history and even in the H.S. I attended there was a huge race riot among whites and blacks. Among my white friends...there was not a single one of them who didn't have this album among their collection at the time. It was an era of rock bands like Led Zeppelin, the stones...and right there in the mix was EWF. This music and that band is one who crossed all the racial divides. It showed the common aspect of all of us. And look at YOU up on that stage..doing the same thing. that is the power of music...the power of EWF. When I listen to you guys perform this song its like nothing I've ever heard before...except for when EWF did it themselves in the mid 70's. You are SO on point... so fine tuned that I wonder whether Maurice White himself has invaded your soul when you're performing. It's no wonder why your friends here who invited you to this think so highly of you. They know what i'm talking about ! The only thing I have left to say is... I hope to see you in person someday ! :)
