Traditional TV is dying. Traditional TV broadcasts operate on a live linear timeline. I call it disposable information, it's content that is suppose to be consumed once in a life time at a certain time period. That method of communication is in the stone age, very few people consume information like that today and to make matters worse, there's time limits to it because of advertisements and the fact that there's only 24 hours a day. At the rate information is shared today, it's impossible for a 24 hour linear timeline to condense thousands of stories in 1 day, pleasing few.

So the truth is The Heritage Foundation hires him and he's never fired just promoted and a scandal promotes it... but I don't know I feel like they could as easily say Tucker leaves Fox for Heritage Foundation...

I don't believe Roger Ailes or anyone in legacy media plays 4D chess. I think he, the management at Fox, and Tucker had disagreements; so they up and fired him for no reason.
Whether Tucker had the foresight to get fired to make more money, seems like a more plausible conspiracy theory to me.
