Refund Requests – What to Do About Them. When a customer asks for a refund, how do you respond? Do you take it personally, wondering if you should have done something differently to make them stay? Do you start to panic because you already spent that money? Or do you resent them even asking because you know you can’t get back the time you devoted to serving them? How to handle an unhappy customer is something each entrepreneur needs to consider in advance- because it will happen at some point. To help you out, I’m sharing my own refund policies and how my team handles refund requests. And let me tell you, these requests are RARE. We listen but we also have a very strict return policy... this has really saved us. I think listening and treating people like a person really helps in these situations.

You are right. I just got a client (student's mom) asking for reimbursement. We just had one piano class and now she said the son is not interest anymore.
As an introvert artist/Meditator, it feels bad. I feel stupid and mad, and also because I never state clear any REIMBURSEMENT POLICY.
But didn't allow the emotions to grow and take control. :)

I already use dthe money they paid and now I need to find a way to pay back. Actually it feels fair if I take out all the emotions.

I was just asked to refund for a work I was booked for 2 months ago
The date of the work was shifted and I just got to know 5days to the actual date to told me now I have a major work on the date they shifted it to so I can’t make it and they are asking for refund. I don’t know what to do

Appreciated for your detailed message in video. I wanted to use a maintenance garage service to install transmission of my car They charged me $3500+GST Canadian dollar on May 01 2023 and promised to complete the repair job within the five business days but it couldn't happen. I called twice 5th day and 6th day after I dropped my car at their garage to make sure that they are working on it but they were making different excuses day seventh I went there business place after discussion I was totally disappointed that they would install the right part or bad part. I said you know what I don't want use your service anymore please refund me back the amount I paid. They said we would pay 75% of the amount I paid. They didn't explained nor on receipt refund policy. Could you please guide me in this regard

What if you don't give them any policy and you just invoiced and you did the work and they want refund now?

Hi, how about the customer cut his finger on the sharp edges, and says our product is very dangerous then he wants a refund, what should I tell him? Is this scenerio is included on your free copy? Thanks 😊
