Nice Truck. Had One. That's how I know that the erson installed the Tailgate Pins wrong. You start by inserting pins upside down first, then bringing them down. That way the pins don't bounce out. It's in Owners Manual.

When I was a young fella we used to run the tailgate latches up through from the bottom, made it harder to bounce them out on a rough road
