As an ASU fan, it was a joy to watch him the last 2 seasons. Feel bad for the nation that didn’t even know he existed until the Peach Bowl. Our national sports media is an embarrassment. It’s pathetic that Skattebo wasn’t in NYC for the Heisman.

The early going in that game was hugely frustrating for Skattebo.
He showed tremendous grit and mental strength not to just check out, give up, and go through the motions to the final whislte....I've seen that from far too many 'star players' before.
He dug down, kept swinging, and wore down the opponent. And then exploded.

Without the fix being in, he would have led ASU to a moment of incredible college football history.

That's grit. Character. Leadership.
Stuff that used to be a major part of the Heisman voting guidelines, but are now just spewed as meaningless puffery.
