I had the original Forever Red in the square bottle with a big ass bow and it has never been the same since. This year is probably the worst remake. The original was strong, sexy and so yummy. Ugh I miss back in the day BBW. Do you remember forever midnight omg 😢😅.

I knew it!! I had a bad feeling about it!!!😂 When Forever Red came back in the faucet bottle, it was different from the first release too. That's how I knew 2024 release would probably be different. The faucet bottle version has less pomegranate and it's more milky-vanilla spice. But still alright. And long lasting. Perfect for Christmas.

You nailed it Mary. It's a lovely scent but has lost an element from years ago.
Also, doesn't last long. Rum, peony and oak should be strong!

Hey Mary after watching your review, I just sprayed it again on my clothes and skin to have a better idea how it smells, here are my thoughts : the opening is super alcoholic, almost screeching my nose, the pomegranate note smells more like the skin of pomegranate instead of the juicy fruit inside, the oak wood smells moldy and old, like if the wood was sitting in an old musty storage. I don't know about rum note, I am not familiar with that. So I 100% agree with you on your review. By the way pomegranate skin tea is good for gut health and better digestion.

I have a small square bottle of the perfume and rollerball of Forever Red, carefully stored and smelling gorgeous so far. These go back before 2019. I don't think we will ever get the quality of this product again. Bath and Body Works seems to be struggling financially. They have new leadership now. However, their products are of lesser quality with higher prices. Even sale prices can be too high depending on the item.

Thank you for letting me know! I haven't smelled forever red before so was excited to finally smell it after hearing all the rave from the previous years. After smelling it yesterday, I walked away disappointed and was wondering if it was just me or what 😅 Glad to know it wasn't me lol
