The University Student Union invites you to view an important, timely and dynamic presentation of Essential Talks: A Conversation with Dr. Cornel West – Walking the Tight Rope: Addressing Racial Battle Fatigue. This first installment of the USU’s Multicultural Speaker Series during Spring 2021 provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Black History Month while also engaging in crucial conversations surrounding the Black community.
Dr. West, an American philosopher, political activist, social critic and author, delves into the reality of systemic racism and how to support students’ experiences. You’ll learn how to care for yourself as a student of color or grow in your journey to become an ally.
