Where would you say this movie ranks along side other Daily Wire releases?

I was expecting a bad movie tbh. I was wrong. I can tell this isn't a film for everyone but I love gritty bare bones westerns and this was right up my alley.

The more I think about it the MORE I like the movie. TOTP is probably the most realistic movie I've ever seen. As in how many shots missed.

I hate to say anything bad about the movie because I loved it and I love what Daily Wire is doing. I gotta say Gina’s acting was kinda tough to get into. I could see it working in the Disney thing she did where she was a bad ass and be soft spoken. But in this she’s supposed to be a woman who doesn’t want to be there and wants to go back east, yet she’s calm and cool and doesn’t speak with any intensity. It took me out of the experience and caused me to wonder if it was bad acting or intentional.
But again, I loved it and I love her and will watch it a second time.

this movie was bad and cringey. I actually really hate that I watched it. I like the daily wire and ben shapiro. I appreciate what they're doing but this was a horrible movie. I really really wish it wasn't bad.

I'd probably give it a 6.5 out of 10. I liked the scenery, cinematography, the story, and the main villain. However, I think some of the acting and writing could have been better. Also, I understand what they were going for with not adding music, but I think it made for some unnecessarily awkward moments. No music is a bold move, and you really need to know what you're doing if you want to make it work.

The movie was mediocre at best. Gina's acting was terrible too and I liked her a lot in the Star Wars show, but here it was cringe just watching her trying to act outside of her range. 4 out 10, the main bad guy was pretty good.

The problem I had with it the most was it felt to me that the characters had too much plot armor. I know they did justify it to a point, but then again once you know that justification then it doesn't really make the rest of the decisions really make that much sense. Why would they need her to come out if they know that if she stays that their goal will ultimately be achieved regardless.

I agree that seeing Gina screaming and getting thrown around wasn’t enjoyable. The movie was a hot mess. Many many scenes where they were 10 feet away and she didn’t shoot them. The scene where she completely ignored the bad guys and taught her kid to make coffee? I wanted this to be good and really didn’t like it at all.

Not sure if I would want Nick Searcy as a next door neighbor.

I wouldn’t say slow burn. It’s stylizations is very classic western. I’m not a western fan, but I think overall they did a great job with this and giving a nod to past classic western films.

In my opinion Nick Searcy gave a better performance than Gina Carano in this movie, he was fantastic! Gina was good, but I do not think that she is the greatest actress in the world...

Nice review and I’d agree with most of what you say here.
Gina is definitely a good actor but definitely no award winning performances here.
Honestly, TDW will truly be dangerous when they do eventually bring on board that A-list actor.
Hollywood needs competition and frankly we deserve something better than what they’re giving us currently.
I thought TOTP was a very solid Western and I’m happy to see Gina back on screen and it’s a big F-you to Disney, the Twitter Cancel crew, and Hollywood.

That is a fair assessment. Nick Searcy was definitely the best actor in the movie. It isn't spectacular but it is a solid start for Gina. I think her acting was adequate and she'll keep on working to improve. I found the pace of the movie a little too slow for my taste and sometimes the dialogue was hard to hear, had to raise the volume of my TV to be able to hear it. But overall it wasn't a bad effort.

I LOVED the movie! It was the only one I've enjoyed in years. I'm so happy they didnt add music to it! Music is so fucking corny

The toughest women can beat up other tough women and maybe even some semi tough men. She knows however that she can’t do much against the toughest men. Wild western villains are likely to be the toughest men. I don’t think using the toughest of women to illustrate that point isn’t as much ironic as it is direct to the point.
