"Biophilic and Sustainable Design. The Reason Behind Your Smile." is a thorough analysis of the principles and patterns used by Architects and Designers, in order to create Sustainable and Biophilic environments.This video,based on examples we chose for you, includes also a brief analysis of strategies and techniques implemented by the designers, which count towards the LEED® Certification. ( LEED® Certification -an acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design™—is a registered trademark of the U.S. Green Building Council®. )In this video we are going to explain why the beauty of a studied spatial function impacts our well-being, elevate our performance at work, or even supports Environmental Sustainability and Economies to thrive.The video is made inside the context of the Berlin Design Week 2021 by Androniki Skoula and Silvia Ceria members of Moving School based in Kassel, Germany . It has been a great honor to participate in the Berlin Design Week 2021, as well as having the opportunity to co-operate with all their team and all our friends from Moving School.

The Project
Biophilia, the inner tendency of humankind to connect with nature, is translated into the living spaces as an invitation to all the natural elements and ecosystem services inside the designing canvas of an Architect. Sustainability on the other hand uses a parallel vocabulary to Biophilia. Sustainability promotes and supports the eternal, mutual and thriving co-existence of natural ecosystems next to the built environment, in such a way that the impacts to the planet dramatically reduce. The creation of healthy spaces that support well-being and enhance the connection of humankind to its natural environment becomes the new framework within Architects, Designers, Health Professionals and more, create their work.
