Hello !
You so right here whit keep it close to the body! As Trevor say keep it in the telephone both in the box. Whit short heads 18-21' it's easy blow your anchor! That means you to fast in your sweep or to high for that speed. High stick slower sweep in general. Whit scandi lines I do like you say whit short stroke to keep a tight loop as line shoots out! And power applications comes from bottom hand who pulls hard and hit your belly to achieve that fast stop and make that flex. Skagit what I'm more and more use whit different tip's on from T18 to intermediate and as faster sinkrate as shorter but whit short I say about 12' long I'm thinking 20' grate as always 👌😊
