Designing Digital Tools for Learning Design

Περίληψη
Technology creates new opportunities for designing engaging learning experiences but at the same time makes the process of learning design more complex, as different actors get involved in the process. In this talk, we will present ongoing work that aims to explore how learning design challenges are shaped through the interplay between the intentions of the learning designers and the digital technologies used for learning design and creation. We will review learning design tools and theories underpinning their development. Also, we will explore the actors involved in the learning design, their entwined relations, and the boundaries that come into existence when the actors are enacted in learning design using digital tools. Our analysis can offer insights towards an enhanced conceptual model of learning design for technology-enhanced learning. This can be useful to support the emergence of new learning design practices for the next generation of learning designers and the development of relevant digital technologies.
