Critical Tower Defense is a game where players customize their loadout of troops called towers and enter a match on a specific map, ranging from easy to extreme difficulty, and vote for a mode, ranging from normal to insane. Players place down towers they bought in the shop using coins and tokens they grinded for to deal damage to enemies or make more money in that round or buff other towers with firerate range and attack damage buffs. At the end of the round, whether they suffer a loss or endure to the end to obtain triumph, players gain coins [used to buy more towers] and xp [used to level up to unlock certain functions, including the ability to buy stronger towers]. There are also a ton of cosmetics for players to collect and challenges for players to complete to obtain towers, perks, and currency rewards.
