Troy, I had the exact same experience in 2016. I asked the Lord who to vote for and I clearly heard Trump. I was quite surprised because I didn't like Trump's bombastic persona at all. Later, I had one of the most vivid dreams in my life where I met Trump in person and saw his heart. I've been supporting and praying for him ever since.
