How to unbrick a psp

In this tutorial I'm going to be showing you how to unbrick a psp1000
I'm not sure of this works for any other models, but it's worth a try isn't it?

What to do:

Hold home
Hold select
Hold start
Hold square
Hold triangle
Turn on the psp

wild guess: the PSP stores in a secret address the last working PSP firmware. This button combo goes straight to it.
Tried on my bricked (?) PSP 2004 with v83 mobo, after a failed attempt to a 6.61 CFW upgrade from 6.60 CFW. Now it just shows "version 6.60", which I assume it's the previous OFW I upgraded successfully.

It worked, and I'm still scratching my head (I was like, meh, I tried everything, let's just try this for a change, and then, WTF?). Considered the option to build a Pandora battery, but this kind of... saves me a lot of time and money. This deserves to be quoted somewhere.
