I've done 4 tiny paintings (3x3") since you posted your 100 Tiny Painting videos. Not a lot but I've discovered that at the end of the day when my brain is tired from writing and/or editing, doing a tiny painting is a nice switch. Mostly landscapes. Appreciate seeing your process. Very helpful. Thank you.

Confession time: I haven't done any landscapes as yet but I am up to my 21th little picture. I have done birds, gnomes, flowers, butterflies, bathing sheds, little dancing figures, seals & penguins etc etc. I have used watercolours, pencils, pens. I am catching up from my own photos, or just a scene from a YouTube video I might be watching or from a Nature Journal page or two I also follow or from magazine cut-outs I have collected over the years....ideas are everywhere. I am loving the process and thank you again for the inspiration Leslie. Mine aren't all as small as yours either, my smallest being 1 1/2 inches square to 5 inches square or 4 x 5 inches rectangular. I bought 2 packets of watercolour paper which suits my budgetary needs from Temu for just a couple of $$, or I cut up my own to suit... they aren't going into an art gallery nor am I selling them so they don't have to be expensive.. I hope people realise they don't have to trot out and buy everything you use, just to work within their means (no excuses people).. they too can love art...thank you from the bottom of my heart Leslie. cheers from Western Australia

This was my 8th tiny treasure, and I followed you along. You should do more of these. It was so relaxing. The painting and your voice-over, especially.

I loved taking half an hour to paint this with you after a stressful day, and I now feel so much more relaxed. These tiny paintings are so achievable even when life gets busy. Thank you Leslie😊

Lovely sketch! I built a tiny art kit to carry daily to work, I paint during long meetings and lunch breaks. I’ve been painting tiny for almost a month and it makes my day go so much better!

Happy Monday Leslie. A challenge update: I’m nine paintings into the challenge and finding the process so enjoyable. I do have one concern…time! I have to force myself not to paint more than one in a day😂 I’ll have completed this challenge in 90 days if I don’t control my time! What a problem to have…right? 🎨

I too have taken the tiny challenge. Very new to watercolor so I am using this challenge to explore colors, subjects, and techniques. I am so enjoying the journey. Thank you for the encouragement!

Leslie, so inspiring to hear you talk and watch your process! Your painting is beautiful. I am also doing the challenge along with you. But I am not on social media so I’m not really posting anywhere. I must say that my work is more 90% watercolor 10% ink. And most of my paintings are of beaches and seaside scenes. I have done some lighthouses. The size I’m working with is 2 x 2 square. I think I might cut some small ones like you’re doing because it’s nice to have some rectangular ones too. Maybe for the next challenge. Thanks again, Leslie. This was a great thing to offer.
