Sam's Journey (C64) - New 'AAA' must have game, buy it now!!

This is my initial run through of Sam's Journey, a new high quality title for the Commodore 64 (C64) from Protovision.

Sam Journey's sets a new standard in 8-bit platforming and is possibly one of the best Commodore 64 games of all time.

This is truly a great game that deserves the community's support. Yes the game does cost more than your typical digital releases for the C64 but this is no typical game. Support the developer so that we can continue receiving this high standard of new games for the years ahead.

Bought 2 weeks ago and play with Vice, best platform game i ever see on C64, it is 100% best for music, play, graphics. A masterpiece!

I bought a boxed cartridge as a self-gift for this Xmas not cheap but it's a reachable price... frankly speaking a game with this quality is worth it, no doubt!!!

I'm not really a "gamer" but love my old 64´s and have always been a big fan of Giana Sisters.... so of course I had to buy Sam´s Journey, and I must say that it is worth every penny. It´s way better than I ever expected, makes me laugh when Sam changes into the pirate or ninja and I keep thinking of how many thousand hours the developer has spend creating this game !
Together with the well thought out gameplay I think €20, - for the download version is pretty cheap.
And.... remember to run it on original vintage hardware ;-)

I first bought this game as a digital download, but it was so good that I had to buy the cartridge.
Hope to see more games like this i the future!
I played through the game in about 10 hours, but only with the overall score 74%
Now the job really starts trying to get 100% on all maps.

At first I was like, "This looks like a great game I could play with my 4 year old son." Then the intro showed a giant claw pulling him into a closet. Not sure I want to show this to my little kid and freak him out every time he tries to go to bed.
