How to do if que is :

What is the value of sigma for 11th electron of potassium?

Is it like this:-
K = 1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s² 3p⁶ 4s¹
11th electron is 3s¹
So,
1s² > 2(1)
2s² 2p⁶ > 8(0.85)
3s²3p⁶ > 7(0.35)

=2+ 6.8 + 2.45
=11.25 = sigma

Z eff = Z - sigma
=19 - 11.25
=7.75 = answer?
