This is making me sad. It's disappointing to me as a young American that this country is so strongly divided that people will go along with anyone who's a part of their party and will immediately dislike anyone in the opposing party. Instead of working together to solve these huge looming issues like climate change, the exhausting supply of natural resources, overpopulation, and water/food scarcity, we all just play our tiny roles in this big game of politics. I've been scrolling through these comments for an hour, maybe, searching desperately for one comment thread in which people come to a mutual agreement or at least an understanding of each other's opinions, but I have yet to come across one. Everyone is just insulting and degrading each other. I feel less and less hope every day for a good future in my country and the world as a whole.
