But that math only works if ksi is guaranteed to not move at all

A: The penalty taker shoots completely random and always shoots on goal
B: The goalkeeper is not allowed to move a little

With those two assumptions being wrong it’s not the most accurate probability

The probability of scoring a goal against a goalkeeper isn't solely based on the ratio of the goalkeeper's area to the goal's area because there are several other factors at play. These include the shooter's skill, angle of the shot, speed and trajectory of the ball, goalkeeper's positioning and reaction time, defensive players, and more. So, while the goalkeeper's area relative to the goal's area is a factor, it doesn't encapsulate the complexity of scoring probabilities in soccer. It was still an entertaining video though
