The star wars titles are not mislabelled.
1. Phantom menace is correct, because its the beginning of Palpatine's rise to power, however he is only a phantom menace as we the viewers, don't yet know who is controlling the events taking place.

2. attack of the clones is kinda self explanatory, the clones are finally being used. *Duh*

3. Revenge of the sith, once again is self explanatory, The sith are finally achieving their revenge by destroying the Jedi Order, the revenge for the atrocities that were committed against them thousands of years ago.

4. 'A new Hope' is about the rebellion finally getting their chance to topple the Empire's grasp over the galaxy, because of Luke's contributions. Luke is the hope.

5. 'The Empire strikes back' this movie is about the Empire striking out, at the Rebellion for even attempting to resist their rule. They do this by directly going for the source of the Rebellion's "New hope" and try to get rid of Luke, Leia, and Han Solo.

6. "Return of the jedi" Luke has finally completed his Jedi training and is ready to destroy the newly young Sith order, Once they are all gone, then the Jedi order can finally start to return.

7. Doesn't exist.

8. What? an 8th movie?

9. Never heard of it.
