This instructional video educates snowmobilers about the basics of snowmobile safety. It is the product of the Safe Riders! campaign initiated by the International Snowmobile Manufacturers Association (ISMA) and the four snowmobile manufacturers: Arctic Cat, Bombardier Recreational Products (Ski-Doo), Polaris Industries and Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA. This video is a great supplement to a snowmobile safety course and are used by many safety instructors.
Learning all you can about the types of snowmobile trailers available will help you determine the best to suit your snowmobiling needs. Like your snowmobile, trailers have to be safely maintained. Be sure your trailer is functional, secure, your checklist is completed and licenses are up to date.

Those tie down straps you use there should NOT be used. There is no way you can get any actual tension on them. Use a ratchet style for a good hold. Also, just putting one strap on the back like that does nothing to stop the sled from swinging outward in the corner. The way you have it set up, the strap will be loose in a very short time and fall off. Also, when the trailer hits a bump, the rear of the sled will bounce downward and release the strap tension allowing the hook end to bounce free of the sled bumper and/or the trailer hook block. There are very decent ratchet straps out there with a safety clip on the hook ends that will prevent the hook from releasing from what it is hooked to. Spendy, but worth it. It is cheap insurance.

Your top priority is to actually unload the sleds
