I had mine for about 4 months now. I absolutely love it. I may invest in another model just to check it out.

Very thorough review! It's nice to see how much fun you can have on this nicely designed device. Does all your retro games, game streaming, watch videos, add extra controllers to play multiplayer games, hook it up to the tv, use as a gamepad, etc! I got this for $130!

Great review, I really like this console design and all its features, I also like that looks like a Super Nintendo controller as you mentioned 👌🏻

Thanks! Definitely learned a few configuration tricks in this video!
Although, there is no way this device gets a 9 out of 10 from me (bought one last week). The rounded shape
is a huge plus, as the vast majority of square-shaped consoles are not ergonomic for games that utilize the
shift buttons (L/R) such as first-person shooters, simply because and index finger is anatomically lower
placed than the thumb, so making the L/R buttons in the same line as the D-pad - is plain uncomfortable.
And if a console is shaped as square - only exacerbates this. But even with the ergonomic shape, the L2/R2
will be the naturally comfortable place for the fingers, NOT L1/R2. The games, however, will not acknowledge
this. So you have to fiddle around with Retroarch options to swap between the uncomfortable L1/R1 and the
comfortable L2/R2.

Now, RG353P specifically has two main problems that prevent it from being in the top shelf list: first one is
the sound. A lot of retro games feature high quality stereo sound, and many feature brilliant CD-based
soundtracks as well, so if you play those games - you do want a good quality speakers. While the console
does boast stereo speakers, - these are of very low quality, and they go into audio clipping as they reach
even middle volumes. They clearly are not meant for games which have a wider dynamic range of sound.
Pair that up with a questionable placement to boot. Stereo sound was one of the main reasons i bought it,
and it kinda ended up as disappointment. Especially since consoles like the PSP, - which was made ages(!)
ago - has a fantastic, superb sound with no issues whatsoever. Older consoles like JXD Gamepad also pass
the sound test with flying colors. I was under the impression that something made in 2020's was to do that
too, but - no such luck.

The second issue is the emulation performance. The fact that it can go up to 64 bits problem-free, is simply
not true. While it can do PSX games and the earlier stuff with ease (which is to be expected), it will have
issues with 3DO games and Saturn games, making a good portion of them unplayable. So there is that too.
Same with the PSP, depends on the game. It may or may not be playable. Based on that and everything else,
my ranking for this system is 7/10.

High points: very ergonomic, streamlined, cute, high compatibility, versatile, comes with stereo sound.
Low points: poor quality speakers, unpredictable performance with games above Playstation-1. Retroarch quirks.

If it's able to utilize two monitors at once, we definitely need a small hinged monitor to attach to it.
That would make it the perfect NDS emulator. Provided they could make the touch screen work

Great video, thx! I just ordered the RG353P plus a good SD card.
But I wonder if I could connect a N64 controller to the handheld. Would it work with a USB adapter or are there controllers with Bluetooth on the market?

So ergonomically the 353p is superior?... How about game play vs the 353v? Also, the 353v has more roms pre installed 25000 vs 353p 4500....The 353v has 1 more gig of ram as well.

Imagine watching the whole video to see that console with the SNES game on the picture, just to find it was click bait. I want my click back, unsubed.
