I'm using Broadcaster wiring on my nocaster project. What it is is the bridge position uses the second pot(it's bypassed in the two neck positions) as a blend control to bring in shades of the neck pickup, anywhere from a little to full on, so rolling the blend all the way back gives you the two pickup combo. Middle position is just the neck pickup with no tone control. Position 3 is the neck pickup with Leo's "Deep Rhythm" circuit, a .05 capacitor for a very dark tone drop. Originally meant for guitarists to be able to emulate baselines. Never got much love(or use, for that matter) once the Precision bass came out. I made one slight adjustment and added an 8.2k resistoe to the ground side of the tone cap so I get a nice, warm tone drop but it won't go all the way to that muffled, wool blanket over the amp sound. It's a similar effect to the Greasebucket circuit and makes it far more useful in a modern context.

Telecasters are The Best All Purpose Model that Fender ever Designed! It's almost like a Kit Guitar where you can try all sorts of Mods But then bring it back to stock condition if you want!
