Super Mario Maker 2 - All Mii Outfits

Показать описание
A full collection of all 115 Mii costumes in Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch, including all Ninji & DLC outfits! This video showcases all of them + how to unlock them all.
As of the release of the final Ninji, it's now finally possible to obtain every single costume. In total I have spent nearly 1000 hours on getting all of these costumes. I'd like to go over the most notable ones below, and give some tips.
One thing I'd like to mention is that the Mii used in the video is from a player named "Cadeinn", but I think it's cute and all the costumes look nice on it, so I picked it instead of my own.
~~ Tips & tricks for the harder outfits ~~
・ Mushroom Hairclip: Win 10 Versus matches in a row ・
This is one of the hardest achievements in the game. Even if you're very skilled you'll still need a lot of luck. Personally this took me thousands upon thousands of matches to achieve legitimately (at rank 6000) and I've had many times where I ended up with streaks like [6 streak, 1 loss, 4 streak].
There are two ways you can 'cheat' this costume to make it easier.
- Method #1 would be to force 1v1s instead of 4 player matches. Your chances of winning against 1 player are much higher than winning against 3 others.
- Method #2 is to derank far below your actual rank, so that you get matched up with inexperienced players, making it slightly easier to win matches, though luck and bad levels will always be a thing.
・ Edamame Camisole: Reach a high score of 100 in Super Expert Endless ・
This is, in my opinion, the most difficult, ludicrous and frustrating costume in the entire game, and honestly this might just be the *worst* thing I've ever pushed myself through. Unless you own multiple switches and copies of Mario Maker 2, there is no easy way to do this. You're going to be skipping thousands upon thousands of levels. I've had times where I skipped for over an hour before finding a suitable course.
When you start a level, instantly pause and check the WR time. Some levels have dev exits, often shown by the WR being just several seconds.
Here's what I recommend you look out for;
SKIP:
Troll courses / anything with DGR in the title / uno mas courses
Precision levels / kaizo (kaizo training courses that let you retry are fine)
Speed runs (often these levels are very blind)
Enemy spam / general poor design
Pick a pipe / door etc.
Levels with blind enemies (such as Thwomps) always be on the look out for those
GOOD:
Levels that grant you a power up near the beginning
Levels with a lot of solid ground
"Get over it it" levels. Even if you don't clear it you can likely exhaust the full 500 seconds before skipping without dying anywhere.
Levels that have proper design. These will often offer some form of 1-UPs too.
I also recommend that you look for creative ways to get 1-UPs. You can do this by bouncing on enemies for example. Another way many players farm 1-UPs is by using the shell-on-stairs glitch. You can perform these in practically any levels that has a koopa or shell and a slight set of stairs.
I wanted to link something here, but the highlights/clips in question have been deleted. Instead, look up Nokduro 녹두로 and Vins6708 빈스 on Twitch. They are very skilled Korean players who play Super Expert and have scores into the thousands.
・Superb Suit: Reach S+ in Multiplayer Versus ・
Depending on who you ask, this is either a freebie or an impossible task. From what I remember the gains in high S about +20 for a win and -10 for a loss. One thing you should focus on is getting soft losses more (-1, -2) which can only be done in flag levels. Sometimes people wait at the end of these levels to allow other players to gain easier, but it's not a requirement. The higher ranks you get matched with, the less points you will lose and the more you'll gain (if you win), so giving up in high rank lobbies isn't really worth it.
・Royal Crown / Royal Outfit: Achieve #1 on any (worldwide) leaderboard ・
The only way you're reasonably going to achieve this is by getting this in Weekly Maker Points. Uploading a bunch of levels in bulk (10-20 depending on the quality) should suffice, assuming enough people like them. You could make 1 second garbage levels, though from experience making actual good levels makes this a lot easier.
The big downside about this costume (as well as the ones for 2nd and 3rd) place is that your game has to be OPEN and ONLINE for you to get it. If you're not online during one of those positions you will NOT get the costume.
・Edamame Barrette: Clear 10,000 courses ・
This is a massive grind, and honestly a rather boring costume to go for. Easiest way to get this fast is by farming Endless Easy and/or looking for short levels with detailed search. (For example, I got a fair amount of clears through automatic levels, while doing something else in the background)
This costume is easy to combine with holding 500 WRs at once.
Can't put more, reached the description character limit. Sorry!
