Boris Johnson demands Putin ‘steps back from the brink’ of war

BORIS Johnson today demanded Vladimir Putin "steps back from the brink" of war to avoid a brutal bloodbath in Ukraine.

At showdown talks this week the PM will warn the sabre-rattling Kremlin aggressor an invasion would be "bitterly and bloodily resisted".

Russia has marshalled more than 100,000 troops on the border of Ukraine and is poised to march in.

Mr Johnson said an invasion would be "an absolute disaster for the world" and warned the Moscow strongman to pull back from the edge of war.

All Putin asked for was to stop advancing NATO to the boarders of Russia and for the Ukraine to honour the Minsk agreement. Which seems reasonable to any person of sound mind which probably does not include many politicians to be honest.
