Funeral held for 5 young women killed in Minneapolis crash

A community in shock said their prayers and goodbyes to five young women killed in a hit and run crash Friday night. Esme Murphy was there as the community showed up to share in their grief and remember the victims.

Such a senseless, heartbreaking tragedy. I can't believe these 5 beautiful young ladies were killed in such a horrific way. May God give patience and healing to their families. The killer is Derrick Thompson and has committed similar crimes in the past. He was convicted in 2020 of a felony hit and run in California leaving a woman permanently disabled, and was sentenced to 8 years in prison but got out early (why?). he also had a suspended driver's license for fleeing an officer and somehow had it reinstated shortly before he killed these 5 women. He is an EXTREME DANGER to society and deserves to be behind bars for life without parole.
