What an exciting video we have for you today, the Traxxas X-MAXX First BASH! The X-MAXX took some hard hits but kept going, all although both upper bulkheads did crack it didn’t stop this beast. We have a few repairs coming soon, along with a few small upgrades. We hope you enjoyed this video as much as we did making it.

The cheap way to fix this is to fit an extra metal cross bar on the other side of the top arms to prevent it flexing and breaking the top bulkhead. The more expensive option is to buy aluminium bulkheads to replace the plastic ones. There are a few other classic xmcxx weaknesses that you will find in due course probably...

Yes, it does share the it being strong but also it puts the stress on both sides instead of just on one side. Hope it helps great video.🎉

Congrats . I seen a lot of people like this as a favorite and get multiples . One for bashing and one for looks . They do look cool a f blinged out to the gills . Thunder RC swears by this ride once it gets a few upgrades . Pretty much like any RC . It’s all hit and miss . I haven’t had any issues with any stock gearing besides consumable parts like diff cups or a diff pin in a couple China junks .

Sweet nice airs stock Xmaxx servos are junk the first time me and my dad drove are Xmaxxs the first time we broke are servos on the first battery 👌

The clicking might be a loose pinion. My XRT’s pinion came loose a couple times. I had to put loctite on the grub screw the 3rd time around lol.

I seen dudes use baking powder or soda, srry can’t ember which specifically and super glue for plastic repairs but a plastic melter with Brillo pad fibers melted in fixes plastic but that’s a really stressful spot and traxxas parts are cheap

I hate that traxxas forces you to buy it with the belted tires that are really only good for speedruns. Otherwise, the X-maxx is a beast
