Dedicated to my Phwa Phwa 1926 - 2022.

So many blooms, including my very first orchid given to me by my grandma Lorraine. She is the reason I have any orchids at all. We miss you always. Rest in peace xxx

So sorry for your loss. Nice to see the updates, bummer on the neos. Sad to see the flooding, I have a few friends on ig affected, breaks my heart to see peoples homes so damaged.

Alocasias are one of those plants that has tuberous base, although it might look dead, it can bounce back if not wholly rotted from the base and under dirt parts.

I send you warm thoughts and hugs. I lost my grandfather last year and due to corona had not seen him before and couldn’t attend the funerals either.

Hope you have lots of loving memories to keep with you.

Sorry for your loss. But she did live a long and (I assume) full life. And, importantly, she was able to see your daughter.
I did read about the Australia floods on the BBC News, I don't recall it being mentioned in the US news though.
Yes, that yellow one is Oncidium Tiger Crow 'Golden Girl'. I think it is one of the prettiest yellow Oncidiums but it is very hard to find here.
