Honda 'The Power Of Ridgeline' by PES

"The Power of Ridgeline" premiered on TV during the Opening Ceremony of the Rio Olympics in August 2016.

Some details: we shot on Stage 30 at Sony Pictures Studios, the legendary Esther Williams stage (her 700,000+ gallon tank lies beneath the floor). Almost entirely shot in-camera. It's a mixture of long exposure photography, stop-motion, live-action, and a dash of CGI. The letters were built at a 30 x 50 ft scale and filmed from the rafters. And yes, we constructed an 800 pound fish bag. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite commercials! I thought 'whoever made this commercial it a genius'. Little did I know that it was made by my favorite animators! The first PES vid I saw was one of the first YouTube videos I saw. It was the guacamole video. That was when that vid FIRST came out. Can't believe how far PES has come! :)
