I actually got this, upgrading from a Echo Dot 5th Gen with Clock. It's so much more useful, the LED display on the dot was very unuseful, but the display on the spot is a lot more interactive. I recommend this :)

It is not a charging cable, it is a power supply for the device.

Wrong. The black cord is not a charging cable. It’s a power adapter that will plug into the echo spot so it’s a wired if it was a charging cable then you could unplug it and take the echo spot wherever you want
