TOP 5 COMMON HOUSEPLANTS | MY FAVOURITE NON RARE PLANTS

Let’s all give a little love to all of the basic and common plants. Due to the current popularity of rare or hard to find plants the prices have skyrocketed! So let’s give some appreciation to the OG’s that started the plant love. This is my list of my top 5 favourite common houseplants. It was soooo hard to choose only 5!

Hi from Canada! Love your list! Nice to focus on beautiful plants that are relatively easy to find depending on where you live. I have all of these plants and I bought them in local stores in Toronto and other than the Hoya Hindu rope, they were all fairly inexpensive. Thanks for sharing 💚🌱💚

I've only seen Hindu rope and Scindapsus online, but not locally in Melbourne. Not too expensive for babies. Perhaps Victorian Bunnings will be different this spring and have some less common plants.
My favourite common plants are Peperomias and Monstera deliciosa. Love my Monster.

Love your top 5, still to find a pictus exotica. My fiddle fig is around the same size as yours.
Was wondering if you can help work out why some leaves are eregulary shaped. Some have red spots all over. I think ot might be a water issue.

It’s interesting to see depending on where a persons lives, which plants people pick for common house plants. In Canada Hoya Hindu rope would be very expensive, so are fiddle leaf figs, at least where I live.

i wouldn’t necessarily call string of pearls common, but they are lovely plants
