I still never fail to laugh at Pooh’s random smart moments, like his deadpan correction of Tigger calling them Heffalumps and Woozles

Fun fact about Lumpy: in Kingdom Hearts III, he's voiced by Amelia Stanger, the little sister of his original actor, Kyle Stanger. Pretty cool, eh?

Another fun fact: the real Christopher Robin grew up HATING that he was a character in his father's books.

Let’s be real for Pooh losing hunny is a fate worse than death

Its a pity they didn't do a sequel film to Pooh's Heffalump movie about friendly Woozles, it would be interesting to see where they lived and how they would interreact with the residents of the 100 acre wood and Heffalump hollow.

Fun fact!

The bear Pooh was based on, Winnipeg, was actually orphaned and sold by a hunter to the Canadian Army Veterinary Corp on their way to serve in World War 1. There, she served as the unit’s mascot under the name Winnipeg Bear, or Winnie (after Winnipeg, Manitoba), before being sent to the London Zoo in December, 1914.

"if the inhabitants of the Hundred-Acre Wood are supposed to be stuffed toys, one has to wonder why something as large as Wooster was created" first of all, if we're going by stuffed-toy scale, Wooster is maybe 7 feet tall. second of all, if "7 foot long plush weasel" wasnt on my lifetime wishlist before, it sure is now. im sure im not alone in this.

Man its so intresting how far a pretty simple concept like the Heffalumps go.
Ive always loved that Pooh doesn't really have antagonist and the few times it did, kinda seems more like an accident

Like the antro version of "Thats not a villain persay, its just a hungry preditor"

I think another unnerving thing about that scene might be that the male Heffalump stares -- with soulless-looking eyes -- at the audience for most of the dance.

The only place I’ve ever seen a soft toy as big as a person (or almost as big) would be those carnivals where you try to win a game to get plushies. So maybe that’s where those big Heffalumps came from.

Come to think of it, carnivals are heavily linked with circuses, and elephants, which Heffalumps are based on, were used as circus animals traditionally. So maybe I’m onto something with my headcanon...

The Crud being the only villain truly around does make him stand out. In another other franchise he would be a low tier villain, but in the Pooh franchise he is high tier. And again Jim Cummings just loves pulling his work as these characters. Also I notice the more fantastical animals like the Heffalumps & Woozles are stuffed which adds to the fantastical nature of them. Also one animal I am surprised they haven't made come to life are Jagulars like I could imagine that could be a good opportunity to make them like a counterpart species of the Tiggers-if any others ever exist. Like maybe there could be a Jagular that is made as the only one while Tigger is the only one. Bonus points if the Jagular is a female and has a trait that contrasts with Tigger's bouncing.

Pooh's Heffalump Movie was one of my favorite's as a child. Glad to see it and Lumpy mentioned. I do find it endearing how they decided to turn was seemed like imaginary honey thieves into fleshed out characters that aren't so bad. Also as someone who has never played Kingdom Hearts I was pleasantly surprised to see Lumpy as I thought he was forgotten/retired. I know he was in My Friends Tigger and Pooh plus a Halloween movie but I haven't seen much of him so glad he's getting some love

I always hear people saying that they were scared of the nightmare scene with the Heffalumps and Woozles. But weirdly for, I always loved the scene, and would constantly rewind it.

I loved the heffalumps and woozles number and would rewatch it over and over. It and pink elephants on parade never scared me, I guess I'm just a sucker for psychedelic musical numbers involving elephants

I had forgotten that "under the bed" episode of Winnie the Pooh, but it all came back to me, seeing this. That show got really weird sometimes, but I really enjoyed it.

The real life story of A.A. Milne and his son and what happened after Winnie the Pooh got published is a real tragic story.

The episode with Crud is one I’ll never forget. I kinda wish we saw him in another instalment as he is so memorable and gives a decent amount of threat to the Hundred Acre Wood without detracting from the laid back charm. Plus it gives Jim Cummings a chance to use his Robotnik voice again.

Oh so excited for this video. I find the villains of Winnie the Pooh really interesting since they can’t be usual Disney villains

Pooh may be a bear of very little brain, but at least he knew they were called "elephants" and "weasels". Silly old bear 😆

As per Disney villain tradition, the song is still a banger
