Some of our customers have been experiencing download failures when trying to download published third-party software updates into a deployment package in Configuration Manager when using a UNC share for the WSUS Content directory.

When attempting to download a third-party software update, you will receive "Error: The thread is not in background processing mode. in the Configuration Manager console"

I have a weird issue, intermediate scan errors in scan agent, wuahandler log 0x80244017, in all the desktop clients . Windows update registry is fine in the clients, (not enforced through gpo) telnet to 443, 80, 8530 is fine, wuident.cab is accessible from the clients. Clients are Win 10, no proxy, site server in in same network . Http connection is used and anonymous connection is enabled . No errors in the server os clients which using same sccm and wsus,
