Players Classic track day time, unfortunately it was a bit too busy and only managed 4 session

What we learn and tried to fix from the last months shakedown

.M3 EVO brake servo & master cylinder has helped with the brakes - pedal still not amazing but car is running 4 pots all round vs single piston from factory on all e36’s
.325TDS oil cooler fitted (extra row over M3) but unfortunately oil temps got just as high - turns out the oil thermostat was broken making the oil cooler just for show :/
.After reading the tyres and feel from the car we dropped pressures, added camber all round, increased front toe out and decreased rear toe in - all this has helped towards reducing understeer and makes the car more alive but still not super happy with the balance and it still buzzes the arches a bit

Best of the day with limited running and gelling with everything was a 1:28.4 which I think is only a few tenths off the time set in my old E46 M3 on knackered AR1’s

Looking back shouldn’t of used 2nd gear for the chicane

Back to Bedford SW in a few weeks so hopefully can iron out a few more issues.

What would you pick this e36 or the m2!? And could you share why... 😬 love the e36 m3 sound and as a chassis if sorted out its seems to be very good
