Woodturning | Splattered Ash Bowl

This week in the workshop i take an Ash wood bowl blank and do some turning on it and then go wild with some spirit stains from crimson guitars and just splattered the stains all over the wood and make a crazy pattern on the bowl, this woodturning was a fun one and was totally inspired by Stuart Furini and the work he does on his youtube channel with stains and colours. as always this lathe art project was turned on my record power coronet herald wood lathe and i used my easy wood tools carbide cutters woodturning tools and finished with Yorkshire grit abrasive paste and Danish Oil. The colours i used on the project was Pink, Orange, Phthalo blue, green, yellow and cherry red

"I have never crossed to the other side" the first line of the song...You JP HAVE crossed over, you use Carbide tools !! lol I wasn't sure if I was going to like this or not...It grew on me through the video though...it's a great bowl.

Thanks for replying. I joined a club in the area but they don’t like carbine blades which I use. I would like more instructions on using Easy Wood Tools. Dealing with end grain problems and such. Thanks again.
