My father and older brother both joined the Marine Corps and this song reminds me of my brother. I am biased about Marines, but to anyone who is willing to sign the papers and to possibly die for this great country, you have my utmost respect. The Marines are all about taking care of their own and protecting your family with your life, Act of Valor showed me that it's not just Marines. This is one of the most inspiration songs I have ever heard. To everyone and anyone who has, is, or will join the military, you have my gratitude and respect.

I went to see this movie on opening night with a few of my friends, I had read the book and new what to expect, but seeing the list of our fallen heroes at the end felt like a blow to the chest. I stood up and began clapping, and by the end the entire theater was standing together in applause, solemn but proud applause.

A SMART MAN once said, hold 1 stick it will break easy, HOLD 5 Sticks together & you cant break them. :) MY DAD Told me when i was only 7 years old & there's FIVE Kids in the family. Today is a great day 2 listen 2 ths song! I just want 2 say tht I need 2 b gr8ful cuz on 9/11/01, my dad was near the towers on a buisness trip! My mom & I heard bout the news on the tv & she called him right away! He told us wt was happenin & tht he was OK! We thanked the Lord for lookin over my dad & makin sure he was safe! Unfortunatly, thr were som ppl who wrnt tht lucky & ddnt survive the attak! I respect our military & those tht they hv protected! A great salute to ALL soldiers out thr! <3

This movie really opened my eyes to what soldiers really go through.God bless our soldiers, regardless of the mistakes that have been made in other countries.They are simply taking orders and carrying them out.They really have no control over those mistakes.

Songs and Movies really inspire me to do things. Part of Me by Katy Perry inspired me to push to join the marines, Dear John furthered that wish. Then i saw Act of Valour and that even MORE inspired me. Now i hear this song and i am pushing so hard to get into the marines by working out everyday, getting good grades, and praying every night for our soldiers. All this times ive been typing this i just now noticed that im wearing a Support The Troops shirt. God Bless America!
