The hardest thing is finding a doctor who takes these symptoms seriously. Most of the time, the patient can't find a doctor who will investigate. If you are older, you are told it's your age and nothing can be done.

In 2019, I had level 10 chest pain. It started under my right rib cage, went over to the sternum and up, exploded over the entire chest and shot up to my left shoulder and disappeared. Over a 6 month period, multiple ER doctors and and other doctors guessed it was Angina, GERD, my imagination, everything they could think of except the correct one. A total of 14 were lost to explain what was causing so much level 10 pain up to 4 times a day. I was sent home from the ER with this diagnosis, “Chest pain of unknown origin.” The chief of Cardiology finally ordered a Stress test but the appointment was 45 days later. All that time, I’d be bent over in agony. By the time the stress test was done, I was rushed into an operating room . They said I only had about 25 minutes to live as I was prepared for the procedure. Know what was wrong with me, 3 holes in my heart were blocking shut. Great huh!!! After I was place in a recovery cubicle, 5 hours later I experienced my first heart attack. What does this tell you about the medical profession? Fourteen doctors were WRONG and almost killed me!!!!

I recently had a full medical. Everything was normal. I am in my 80's and I am now reluctant to voice my worries about medical problems.

Try going to the doctor with any of these and you’re likely to walk away without an explanation

I had been feeling very tired for months and just thought it was because I'm old. Then in January this year started having a lot of blood in my urine and I knew something was wrong. Kidney cancer and I never had the first pain from it. Just had my kidney removed 3 weeks ago and the doc said it was stage 3 and he got it all. I have to start chemo next week at the cancer center to make sure there isn't anything left in there. Don't ever ignore blood in urine !

I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2018. The months before, I felt extremely tired, the weeks before, I had much blood in the toilet and diarria and constipation on and off. I had stage 3, where the cancercells where also in the lympnotes. By the first visit at my doctor, I had to convince her to get a colonoscopie, because she thought that I ate something wrong (diarrhia) and asked if I was sure that the blood in the toilet was coming from my anus and not my vagina? I was 54 and was allready 7 years in my menopause. It took 7 weeks before I could get a colonoscopy, even I had to make the appointment myself. This is in Europe, in the country with the best healthcare of the world.

People don't realize hospital and doctors . It like Walmart. It's a business.

Takes forever to get in to any specialist and when you do, they just want to treat the symptoms and send you on your way.

I have a cough and loosing my voice with chest pain and severe fatigue since more than 6 months, lost 5 Kilograms (11lbs). Went 3 x to the Emergency, once they checked my heart but that had just a little problem.
So now I’m getting underweight, family doctor tells me after seeing my blood work that I need to see a specialist.
Nobody has ever gone in touch with me even though that I have been referred to a urgent medical assessment clinic
Welcome to the Canadian healthcare!!!

My sister had a lump on her leg and her doctor said let's watch it. Then went to the dermatologist and he sent her right to a surgeon. Ended up being melanoma.

Persistent fatigue is the main cause of anaemia especially pernicious anaemia. It is very difficult to explain to others as you look fine but have no energy.

Constant pain can be mistaken for arthritis or inflammation. But daily pain was my first symptom which started in 2011, very innocently; second was a constant headache followed by constant fatigue. Immediately sought help for the pain, then the migraines, then the fatigue. Don't hesitate and don't be afraid of being labeled a hypochondriac. And don't let some young doctor look you in the eye and say "Oh, you're too young to get cancer." Ignore the gaslighting from immature medical staff. There is one expert in the bunch that will zero in on your issue like the one I was blessed to have found after i immediately dumped the young Porsche driving cool doctor that knew nothing about medical science.

I was being treated for cyatica and was dreaming of having cancer.
I peed blood 2 years later IV had a kidney cancer removed.
Within 3 months I had cancer in the lung, 14 months later it spread to liver lungs stomach .
Always trust your body.
Don't let a doctor dismiss your gut .I was told kidney stones.yeah I'm dying I'm not 50.
Demand a MRI scan or ct
