Bio: Montreal metalcore quintet Fayne began their journey straight out of the womb. Lead guitarist Alex Gonzalez was at the hospital while rhythm guitarist Nick Fazioli was born. Growing up together, they played guitar and covered songs through their high school years. Starting a band was the natural next step. Gonzalez was Fayne’s original screamer, but as he started to focus on guitar and songwriting, the band invited Joseph Espinosa to take over the vocals. Espinosa grew up with a blues musician father and has participated in progressive/ambient project Seasonal A.D., as well as some hip-hop and electronica gigs, making him an unconventional and exciting addition. Fayne also features Chris Kasp on bass and Carlo De luliis on drums.
