General Dimitri - Give Thanks and Praises [Official Video 2024]

Give thanks and praises is the first single of reggae artist General Dimitri from Cote D’ivoire .
It was entirely composed and arranged by General Dimitri himself, and recorded at the AZK Productions studio in Abidjan. General Dimitri wanted his first single to be first and foremost a song of thanks to JAH. It is therefore quite natural that this title and its clip praise the very highest.
The clip was shot on 4 sites: The Mondoukou sea (outskirts of Abidjan on the Bassam road), the Banco forest (a real green lung of the city of Abidjan), The banks of the Bandama river in Tiassale ( one of the first historic towns of Côte d’Ivoire ) and the Azk Live space (where General Dimitri regularly performs on weekends). Seth, his son, appears in the clip alongside 6 children from the Rasta community of Côte d’Ivoire (Selekta Cali, Grace Menen, Nanan Seth, Siméon, Nora and Prince Emmanuel).

The clip thus celebrates the beauty of the landscapes and the purity symbolized by the children.
