#FORKLIFTJOBINTERVIEW #INTERVIEWTIPS #JOBSEARCH2020
#1. Be able to talk about your forklift experience. Most large companies require at least 6 months of forklift experience. Be sure to mention whether you're using a sitdown or stand up forklift and definitely share if you have actually been certified.
#2. Be ready to answer questions about safety. Who do you feel is responsible for safety? Can you describe a situation where you have made the work place safer? Large companies have a focus on this for compliance reasons, but it is also the right thing to focus on to ensure a good positive environment for all employees.
#3. Talk about your attendance. If you've had any issues in the past (say the last 5 years), be able to discuss what happened.
#4. Be able to state why you want to apply to the job. (Not just - I need a job.)
#5. Know your dates of employment and be able to verify this. I recommend having a resume showing months and years you started and ended jobs to help you.
I hope this helps in your search for finding a forklift job and even can be helpful in finding work as a production operator or warehouse associate.
Good luck!
