I'm glad you showed this. Limb lines are the way I do it in the river. I use what I call black bank line and tie a piece of orange tape to the limb. As always good instructions. We don't have cicadas here on the Southern Plateau either and I was looking forward to catching a bunch for bait.

We target flathead. Live bream are the best for that. We caught 17 last Saturday night. Here in SC we cant limb line in daylight. Great video

made my first limblines a couple weeks ago and used orange masonry twine. caught channel cat and gar lol and on jugs when using orange line we caught more gar than usual. might be a trend. also i had the catfish spin my lines so much i went back and put swivels on them all when i pulled them. sd card run out halfway through the trip lol

Can you use live bream in Tennessee? I can’t in NC but we could when I was a kid in Alabama. That was good for flatheads.

I really enjoyed the video as always! I was just talking to my brother-in-law and we haven't heard the cicadas very much out here for some reason. We both thought we would have and found it odd. How did the corn and beans come up that I sent? The reason I ask is for some reason I'm getting really bad germination rates on my beans .. I bought new ones and bought the bean inoculate and still having issues. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

My cousin trot lined on lake Eufala OK. He used pieces of aluminum cans cut in stripes. He punched a small hole for the hook to go through
He believed the can would mimick a shiner. Sounds crazy but I ate fish He caught yhatbway
